“Amatista” (Spanish for Amethyst) wears a beautiful jewel-like Japanese brocade which has been inset with purple velvet and edged with a variety of gold braiding - each hand-spritzed with rhinestones. A large reconstructed vintage brooch has been centrally placed with a deconstructed gold-toned tiara hand-spritzed with crystals set behind. An assemblage of rock Amethyst chips and vintage beads sits further back. A heavy application of crystals, gold half beads, rhinestones and Swarovski elements provide sparkle and shine to the entire work and a careful placement of violets and roses, together with tassels and drapes of gold beading add an attractive rich finishing touch.
