Queen of the Night

Inspired by the Mozart opera of the “Magic Flute”, this masque presents a cold and haughty visage to the world from under a tiara of rhinestone and jet bead embellished silvered black lace over a heavily embellished circlet of pearl and glass beading and a swirl of deconstructed silver braid edged with miniature black rhinestones. From a head capping of lacquered silvered black lace sweeps a veil of silvered black lace sprinkled with miniature blue rhinestones and cascades of stars and  back circles of encrusted braiding overlaid with stars provides a beautiful frame for her face. From behind the tiara rises the 3D image of a glittering quarter moon upon which rest two rhinestone encrusted stars with three smaller ones dancing underneath. A unique feature of the moon is that it hides a series of blue bud bulbs which are operated from a built-in battery compartment contained in the back of the masque. ‘Queen of the Night’ is definite “Wow” decor piece that will be admired by all who see her.
