‘Venezia’ has been given a wire framed collar of sparkling gold net upon which has been set segments of gold glitter lace and gold braid encrusted with gold half-beads and miniature rhinestones. A scattering of pearl beading and silver rhinestones has been applied to the net to provide an extra layer of reflected light and a reconstructed gold and pearl bead brooch applied as the eye-catching central feature. A silver teardrop rhinestone chain from which is suspended a beautiful amber and silver rhinestone finding frames the chin with deconstructed vintage amber jewellery draped either side. From the lower points of the collar, loosely suspended on chains of vintage Art Deco beads, hang lacquered segments of the glitter lace. Designed to dazzle, ‘Venezia’ is a masque created to reflect the beauty of the masque-makers craft.
